The Parent Promise.
Poképreneurs is a learning space for kids and parents to explore collecting and business skills together. We built it like a family kitchen table — safe, honest, and focused on growth, not hype.
What we promise.
Six commitments that guide every tool, lesson, and page on the site.
Safety first
No chats, no peer-to-peer marketplaces, no accounts for kids. We keep the experience inside the family — parent and kid learning together.
No hype, no selling
We never push kids to buy packs, chase 'rip' culture, or treat cards as a lottery. We teach them to value what they already own.
Honest data only
Prices come from public marketplaces, not affiliate deals. We explain where numbers come from and why they change.
Privacy built in
Favorites and price history live only on your device. We don't profile children, sell emails, or track browsing habits.
Skills over speculation
We teach business thinking — margins, due diligence, patience — not get-rich-quick promises. A bad trade is a lesson, not a failure.
Built for co-learning
Every tool is designed so a kid can lead and a parent can support. The Business Plan Builder is literally built to be signed by both.
What this means in practice.
No hidden selling. We do not use affiliate links to card shops, receive commissions on packs, or promote "rip" content. When we mention a marketplace, it is because it is a useful public reference for learning — not because we get paid.
No kid accounts. Kids can browse the glossary, learn the tracks, use the Trade Checker, and explore card prices without signing up. The only optional email is for the parent-managed newsletter.
No guarantees of profit. We teach kids to think about value, risk, and planning. We do not promise that any card will go up in price. The goal is to raise smart decision-makers, not speculators.
Parents are included by design. The Business Plan Builder ends with a conversation prompt and signature lines. The Trade Fairness Checker is a tool kids can show their parents before a trade. The Playbook is written to be read together.
Your hobby is your classroom.
Learn real skills — value, condition, negotiation, and planning — without anyone treating you like a wallet. Bring your parent along so you can talk through trades and goals together.
A trustworthy sidekick.
You don't need to be a card expert to raise a smart collector. We give you the language, tools, and conversation starters to turn a fun hobby into real financial literacy.
