We built Poképreneurs like a family kitchen table: kids belong here, parents should feel safe, and nobody treats a hobby like a data mine. This page explains what we store and why — in plain language.
What we do with your data
Newsletter email
When you sign up for Free Weekly Tips, we save your email address so we can send one short email per week. We also record which page you signed up from so we know what topics people like most.
Purchases & courses
If you buy a Poképreneurs Academy course or The Club membership, we store your email and what you purchased so we can unlock your lessons. Stripe handles the payment; we never see your card number.
Bookmarks & history
Your Favorites, Portfolio, and price history live on your own device — not on our servers. Clear your browser storage and they're gone. This keeps your collection private.
What we do NOT collect
We do not ask kids for real names, addresses, phone numbers, or location. We do not track you across the web, sell data, or run ads based on behavior. No creepy stuff.
Cookies
We use a small local cookie to remember if you're signed in to the Academy or Club. We also use basic analytics to see how many people visit each page, but we don't tie that to your email.
Unsubscribe or delete
Every email has an unsubscribe link. Parents can also email us at hello@pokepreneurs.com to delete a newsletter email or ask what we have on file. We handle it ourselves — no call center needed.
What we store, in one list
- ✓Newsletter email + signup page. Stored in our backend so we can send the weekly tip. You can unsubscribe anytime.
- ✓Purchase email + product. Stored so we can unlock Academy courses and Club access. Stripe keeps your payment details.
- ✓Login session cookie. A small cookie remembers that you're signed in. It expires when you sign out or after a while.
- ✓Local favorites & tools data. Saved only in your browser. We can't see it and it doesn't leave your device.
- ✗We never store: kid names, addresses, birth dates, school info, phone numbers, location, or card trade activity.
You don't need to tell us anything.
You can use the Trade Checker, glossary, price index, and card gallery without an account or email. Keep your binder private. If you want to save favorites, you can — but they're stored on your device, not ours.
You stay in control.
The only thing we ask from kids is curiosity. If a parent signs up for the newsletter, the email is managed like any family inbox. Want to delete or export what we have? Just email hello@pokepreneurs.com.
